Individual Psychotherapy

Psychodynamic psychotherapy explores unconscious processes that influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Over time, this exploration encourages self-awareness and insight into past experiences, especially in childhood, to understand their impact on present relationships and behaviours. Clients say they can better express and process difficult emotions, leading them to emotional relief and healing. We will work together to identify and resolve internal conflicts, improving your coping skills and interpersonal relationships. By addressing the causes of psychological distress, psychodynamic therapy can lead to lasting change, helping you achieve personal growth and a deeper understanding of yourself.

Couples therapy

Emotion-focused couples therapy (EFCT) identifies and transforms negative emotional patterns within a relationship. EFCT helps you understand and express underlying emotions, fostering empathy and connection between you and your partner. I work together with each couple to recognize and break out of destructive interaction cycles, enabling you to respond to each other's emotional needs more effectively. We will work together to strengthen emotional bonds and enhance intimacy. This therapy encourages partners to develop a secure emotional connection, leading to increased relationship satisfaction. Through EFCT, couples learn to navigate conflicts constructively, creating a more fulfilling partnership.

Common issues addressed in couples therapy include:

Emotional Disconnection

Communication Issues

Infidelity and Trust Issues

Recurring Arguments

I was always looking outside myself for strength and confidence but it comes from within. It is there all the time.
