about me

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 20 years working as an engineer in Canada and the United States. I know what it’s like to carry significant responsibility, stay composed under pressure, and keep going even when you’re exhausted. That experience gives me insight into the pressure and inner conflict many people carry in high-demand roles.

My transition into psychotherapy grew from a deeper interest in the emotional lives people carry beneath responsibility and achievement.

Many of the people I work with are used to managing. They think things through, show up for others, and keep things moving. But over time, that can start to feel like pressure, burnout, or a sense that something is not quite working, even if it is hard to explain why.

Our work looks at the deeper patterns, internal expectations, and ways of relating that may have developed over time and now feel difficult to shift.

Having lived between cultures myself, I understand what it is like to carry multiple roles and navigate expectations that are not always visible to others.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist licensed in Ontario, and I follow professional standards to provide safe, confidential care. My additional training includes:

  • EMDR therapy through an EMDRIA approved training program

  • Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) through an ICEEFT externship

  • Flash Technique training developed by Dr. Phil Manfield

I offer in-person sessions in Erin, Ontario, and online across the province. You are welcome to email or call with questions or to book a session, and I typically respond within 24 hours.
