about me
I’m a Certified Complex Trauma and Dissociative Disorders Psychotherapist with a foundation in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. I offer in-person therapy in Erin, Ontario, and online therapy across Ontario for professionals, parents, caregivers, and couples. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member of the Canadian Association of Psychodynamic Therapists (CAPT).
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over 20 years working as a professional engineer in Canada and the United States. That experience gave me a deep understanding of the stress, pressure, and internal conflict that often arise with high-responsibility roles—especially when you’re expected to stay composed while feeling overwhelmed or disconnected on the inside.
I work primarily with adults navigating the complexities of daily life—including those who feel the strain of moving between cultures or carrying aspects of their identity that aren't always seen or understood in their environments. My approach integrates talk therapy, somatic techniques, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based modalities.
Having lived between cultures myself, I understand the nuance of navigating multiple roles, norms, and expectations. I bring an analytic, attuned, and empathic presence to our work, creating space to explore identity, relationship patterns, and the emotional challenges that come with holding many layers of experience.
