about me
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over 20 years working as an engineer in Canada and the United States. I understand what it’s like to carry significant responsibility, stay composed under pressure, and keep going even when you’re exhausted. That experience gives me a firsthand understanding of workplace culture, professional identity, and the pressures that come with high-demand roles.
My interest in psychotherapy grew from wanting to better understand the emotional experience that sits underneath achievement, responsibility, and constant managing.
In therapy, we look at both what is happening now and the patterns that may have developed over time that make it difficult to slow down, set boundaries, or feel at ease.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario. My training includes psychodynamic psychotherapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, as well as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Flash Technique.
I offer in-person sessions in Erin, Ontario, and online across the province. You are welcome to reach out with questions or to book a session, and I typically respond within 24 hours.
